Ultra power saving mode loses rotation

Hi, I needed to go to Ultra Power Saving Mode on my S5 last night for the first time.

Since then, I've noticed that my screen no longer auto rotates. It doesn't matter what app I am in, it has just stopped working for some reason. I've made sure that Settings/Screen Rotation is on. Does anyone have any idea what might have happened?

Thanks

It's a SM-G900F on Vodafone UK

OK. Thanks, Try a soft reset by leaving the phone on and yanking the battery out. Hold the power key in for 5 seconds and then replace the battery and reboot, to see if this solves your issue.

Actually it is more that the phone stays in 'portrait' view. If I open an app with the phone on its side, the app opens as if the phone was upright.

I have a game that can only run in landscape and that works fine but then everything else runs in portrait regardless.

Yeah ok,thanks. I've tried a few other things having read a bit about others with the same problem. I've run it in safe mode, used *#0*# to run tests and seen that it fails the gyro test, which can't be good! I've removed my wireless charging card just in case. ..

Oh well, reset time. ...but thanks again for the help

Unfortunately a factory reset didn't fix it for me. For now, I've downloaded a rotation control app and will see how I get on with that.
