Bought the Sandisk microSDHC UHS-1 98 mb/sec. No one will confirm that this card will fit and work in an Android LG Zone 3. Want to check before opening the package. Guidance sought

It will physically fit, micro SD cards are all the same size.
According to LG the Zone 3 works with SD cards up to 32GB:

You might not want to focus too much on getting a really fast microSD card and instead the capacity. When using a card over 32GB, the largest your phone will support, is going to be risky thing to do as you'll never be sure about its reliability.
Also, given your phone's dated hardware specs, a really fast card is a bit of overkill and the system resources won't be robust enough to even take advantage of the faster read/write aspect.

I think for that phone, make sure you're using the SDHC type which are upto 32GB. It very likely isn't compatible with the later SDXC type, which supports much larger capacities.
