Ultrathin cases for Pixel and Pixel 2 ?

I have been looking around for best ultrathin cases for those phones for a while and after testing quote a few (from big brands) it seems that best so far is the case from little UK startup called LAYER.

They were the first one to launch an actual ultrathin 0.3mm case. I was actually amazed how protective the case is and how tight it fits to my Pixel.

Now they launched pre order for Pixel 2 i think I ll head there too before my XL 2 to arrive

This case offers the same protection as a skin would. I suggest getting a dbrand skin over this case for 5 reasons. 1 they will cover your whole device (the sides, back and front). 2 they are thinner than that case you linked above. 3 you can customize it to be how you want using their designs and patterns. 4 the skin would most likely be cheaper than this case 5 the skin would probably be more protective than this case as it wraps around the edges and has a front piece to cover the bezzels.
