It feels like time to root my phone. The LG Optimus V seems to rank around medium difficulty for rooting, from what I can tell. After watching a few videos on YouTube, I think I can handle it.

If it works for me, I will post a success story.

Pesky spellcheck! I attempted to write 'unlurking'

Rooting my phone probably does nothing to unscrew those kinds of mistakes.
