Well, golf season is finally here. Post your clubs, balls, scores, tips, tricks, apps, etc. :)

Whats in my bag?
Taylormade Burner Driver
Callaway X-Tour Irons
Square Two S-Wedge

(getting rid of full Square Two ETH set)

Anyway, yesterday I got my first eagle! Par 4, landed 5 feet over the green, chipped in :)

I use the Callaway HX-Hot Plus balls too. Add a good amount of distance to your shots...

Right now, I usually play about 10-15 over. At the end of spring, I will end up going near par/break par if I can add on from last year.

I also recommend teedroid caddie. (teedroid.com) Great app!, and you dont have to pay for it (if you can map some courses)

Enough about me, you?

Driver: TaylorMade Burner 10.5 Stiff
3-Wood: TaylorMade Burner 15 Stiff
Irons/Hybrids: Mizuno MX950s Hybrid 3,4 Irons 5-PW DG R300 shafts
Wedges: Mizuno MX950s GW, SW, LW
Putter: Yes! Golf Victoria
Balls: Bridgestone E7+, Titleist ProV1x, Bridgestone B330S, or Titleist NXT Tour

Handicap: 10-12

Best rounds: 80 at Virginia Beach National playing from the blues, 81 at Arrowhead GC, Bridgeport NY playing from the blues (snowman on 17 ruined the record).

No eagles yet this year (only played twice so far), had two Eagles in a single round last year. Usually, I score well by avoiding bogeys, not getting birdies.

Tips/Tricks: Get some lessons, seriously, nothing looks dumber than a jackass waiting for the group ahead to hit their approach shots on a par 5, swinging around a $400 driver only to top the ball 60 yards down the fairway. Nevermind all the other paying customers that have to sit around on a nice beautiful day and wait while you hack and slash your way down the hole. The only reason I even take a cart is because I spend 3 out of the 5 hours in a round sitting around waiting to hit. If only I could get a really lightweight chair in my golf bag somehow.

Here is another tip: Saturday mornings are not the time to bring your girlfriend/wife, or kids and try to teach them how to play. Don't even get me started on Mulligans, the only time you should play a second ball is if you most likely lost your first ball out of bounds or in a non-lateral hazard. Speaking of hazards and out-of-bounds, they are not there to saunter through and search for on the course souvenirs.

One more tip, if you are strong enough to drive the ball 250 yards, be a big boy and play from the big boys tees. There isn't much challenge to hitting driver + wedge to every single par 4 and flying over every single fairway bunker.

Note: My "tips" are not directed at anyone in particular. Unless you exhibit those behaviors.
