Unable to Add Call

My S22 Ultra 'International Model' does not support "Add Call" or "Merge Call" functions. The button is whited out in each case. I've had this checked out by Samsung America who said they could not help as the phone is an international model. T-Mobile has no idea what to say.

Would anyone have an idea about this.

Could be you need to have a phone that was supplied by T-Mobile to have their feature?

Yeah if it's an international model then you don't have that option

The US unlocked version does support this feature.

I have several other Android phones not purchased from T-Mobile and they all have worked fine. Only difference is that the S22 has Android 12.

But are those other Android phones US or international variants/models, i.e. imports? I'm thinking this "Add Call" or "Merge Call" functions is proprietary to T-Mobile and is US only, which international variant phones may not support.

It's something I've never seen from carriers either in UK, Ireland, or China. And the nearest thing I know is conference call..
