unable to answer

On my proclaim, sometimes when I get a call and swipe the screen to answer the phone continues to ring and there's no way to answer it. I've missed several calls because of this.

I've not experienced this, but my wife has. It was because she installed some free app of the day that for whatever reason seemed to interfere with it. Once uninstalled, it was normal.

Not saying this is what your problem is, but worth a check.
