i unable to apply themes after installing in Android OS, v2.2 (Froyo).please help me..

Welcome to the Android forums!
There are few types of themes :
1) ROM theme - installed as ZIP in recovery manager for rooted phones, these depend on phone and firmware version
2) Themes for different launchers - work only if the launcher is installed, selected as default launcher and the theme is selected in launcher. If this is your problem, you can select the launcher with "Home Switcher for Froyo" or "Home Switcher".
3) Themes for T-Mobile themes manager - These can be installed from Market and choose in Theme manager - work only if Theme manager is installed (like on CM7 ROM).
