unable to get a stream on new android box

Hi ive got a new android box i am new to these devices. i have linked it to my wifi but cnt get a stream on many of the channels. is there something i have to download or configure in the settings? the instructions i got were just how to link to internet.

any info would be appreciated thanks. ian

my m8 is going to check my box out today. he has 1 of his own so is familiar. is it kodi youa cant get streams for? im going to try and download mobdro i use on my phone so it should work fine for the android box aswell. i will let keep you posted

its through channels on kodi which was already installed on the box. im new to this so dont know what legit or not. Are you able to help?

Sometimes these boxes come with things that are completely illegal, and your ISP might be blocking them because of copyright infringement, that's why I asked,

Kodi is OK, the content I've seen on there seems legal. Although a lot of it's not available to me, because I'm in China, the South Park channel certainly streams no problem. If it's geo-restricted availability on content, what country are you in, because some might be US only etc.

ive got it working now. i had to add a source and unzip the file etc. kodi channels that were preinstalled were poor. this is.working great now. YOU TUBE is great way to learn a bit more.

YOU TUBE kodi step by step set up mate. its straight forward. i can now get streams channels the lot! let me know if you have any problems.
