unable to install apps

I have just had my phone flased and when I go on google play and I click install my phone does nothing at all
 
What device do you have? What exactly do you mean by flashed? Flashed as in rooted and a custom ROM or flashed as in from one carrier's software to another?

I think if the latter, you might have a connection problem. However have you checked to see if you are signed into the Play Store?
