Looking up that phone it appears that you need to remove the back cover to access the sdcard. From the way it looks it should be just above the battery toward left edge of phone. You probably have to remove the battery to remove it. There's a good chance the phone didn't come with one so if you see an empty slot that means you will need to install one to use it.
