My gmail app works fine with my gmail account, but my college email is a windows live email account and i cannot figure it out how to get this to sync up properly.
First it asks me for the email address and password. I put it in. xxxxx@mail.sunysuffolk.edu followed by my password and it take me to the next step.
Then I click manuel setup and then pop3 account. Then it asks for username, pass, pop3 server, port, and security.
I looked up alot of the info and found the pop3 for my campus, but not the "port" info that the app is asking for, or the security info. It seems that without this information, my droid just hangs on the "checking incoming serve settings" screen until i hit back.
The mail app on my mac didnt as for "port" and this worked just fine. so does anyone have any info about this port setting?
