today ,I connected my phone (HTC desire S)as a disk drive and put some files ( .png ,.jpg ,.swf ) in the `sdcard`, when i tried to open those files. i am unable to do so.even i am unable to find those files in the gallery of the device.

When i checked details from Astro file manager it is showing the extension `.cp$` with all my files like `filename.png.cp$`

I am not getting what is the problem??

Can anyone help me on this ?

Thanks in Advance.

cp$ seens to be an error code of the Windows system.

You could delete that extension on one of the files with Astro and then try to open the file.

Tried you with a .jpg?
The stock viewer might not know the other pic formats.
I use for other pic formates a viewer like 'Fast Format Viewer'.

Other possibility might be that the files are corrupt.
You might delete the .cp$ file on the phone and copy them from PC again.
