Unable to play songs on Xplod using my Xperia P series

Unable to play songs on Xplod using my Xperia P series.

Though I have paired my Xperia P series(LT 22i)with my xplod car audio system I am unable to play songs on my xplod.

In the Xperia Play On Device menu I donot see the xplod option.

Also on the xperia connectivity screen i see that the connectivity for Xplod says Non Media.

Pls help.

Have you tried unpairing and pairing again? It sounds like the headunit had recognized your phone as a phone and not a media device.

Also, is this pairing done by an app via Bluetooth or just by Bluetooth? Perhaps there is an issue worth the app?
