Hi everyone! I would have liked to post on the appropriate forum, but (as i am about to explain) I cannot receive any emails or connect to the itnernet via my mobile phone, so registering for an account was impossible :/
I have had my HTC Wildfire for two years now with very little problems regarding connectivity. Yesterday I used my phone as a Hotspot with my laptop for about an hour, but since then my internet no longer works. For mobile internet, the 'H' symbol with arrows appears at the top of the screen, but when I try to open a webpage or access my emails, it acts as if it cannot connect to a network and has no response. Not even my weather forecast will update. So, I tried to use my Wifi instead - the phone says it is connected to the wifi with a very strong signal, however it doesnt seem to actually be receiving or sending any packets because I still cant view any web pages, access email, update FB messenger etc.
As it appears to happen with both mobile internet and wifi whilst both say they are connected with signal, I dont think its a network problem with my provider (O2 Germany, the wifi is from a completely different service and provider), but seems to be an internal/software problem. Any ideas what I can do to fix it?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
