Unable to recognise your face - PLEASE HELP!!

I'm going out of my mind here so please can someone help.

My S6 Edge phone has started doing weird thing. Loads of rectangular boxes interspersed with pinging noises and then a message saying 'Unable to recognise your face'.

How on earth do I get rid of this apart from taking a hammer to the phone?

Have you tried rebooting it? Resetting it? Starting it in safe mode?

Does the S6 do facial recognition?

It sounds like some face recognition has been enabled. That's usually a lock screen option, so I'd check the security settings.

Thanks all. I had to reset the phone to its factory setting. Bit of a pain but not too bad.

All good now.

Try not to be in a drunken stupor when taking the original identification photo because the camera program is going to look for that exact image when needed to be identified again.

I am facing the same problem with my Note 5, and I really don't know what to do! Don't want to reset it either...
Isn't there another way to disable whatever function I apparently have enabled by accident??

It suddenly happens to me. Which i dont know why suddennly the universal switch is turn on but the solution is Go to setting >Accessibility > Dexterity ang interaction> Universal switch then turn off... or just go to settings then search universal switch
