Unable to synch from WMP after upgrade

I have a Galaxy A40 with Android 10 installed. After a system update i'm not able to synch WMP playlist to my smartphone. I see a playlist in the Playlists folder but it is empty.
Please advice
Kind regards

Man, WMP de-syncs from Android at will; Windows, historically, has never gotten along with Android. My cure? Run Tails OS. Or, be brave and run Oracle Virtualbox with Github wares. When I had to deal with this, I had to go back in the drive in Settings and reload Windows from the most recent backup, and it would sync again.

I got fed up with Windows. Now, my phones and computers use Spotify. It's a helluva lot more convenient, and you only have to "keep what you need" for offline playing, etc.

As a recording musician, I've used Cakewalk with Winblows to record and master tracks. But listening to the masters in Windows is a huge letdown, not to mention latency in the audio while tracking.

I hope this helps you, instead of coming across like opinions... best of luck.
