Help unable to turn display brightness down on htc one x

Hi,
I am unable to turn down the brightness of my display, i have the box checked for auto brightness and no joy so i uncheck the box and manually change the brightness via the slide, again no joy heelp needed please

Reset your ogine and see if that'll work. If it still exist back up and factory reset.
