Unable to update MIUI locally

But whenever i try to apply this update Updater app shows pop up saying "To download this update, connect to a Wi-Fi network". I couln't find anything online.

Was the phone actually connected to WiFi and the internet? Maybe MIUI needs to download some additional data to complete the update, that's just a guess of course.

No phone was not connected to any Wi-Fi network because i don't have Wi-Fi around me. And no i guess Updater App is just not recognising the upadte file and is actually asking me to download it first. Thus im confused whats happening here
