Uncombining Combined email Accounts

I apologize if this has already been answered (and i bet it has) but my search for anything related some to hit an infinite loop, so I'm posting again. Please be patient.

I have an LG Optimus with two email accounts. One account is a Yahoo! account and the other is a 1and1 imap. I had them both originally loaded by the default "mail" icon that come with the phone, but I began to get the imap on my Yahoo! account. I deleted the Yahoo! account from the default app and added the Yahoo! app. This did not help. I then removed the imap account from it and then reinstalled it. This did not help either.

I have checked my setting on both accounts and I do not have one reference (or forwarded) to the other.

Can anyone tell me how to separate these?

Thanks!

Are you sure its the two combining or its that you're just looking at the combined inbox by default?

From that image i posted, the default email client on my Galaxy SL (My Gmail account is configured in the GMail app), you would see the two accounts and a "combined inbox". If you select either account, you only see emails from that account. However if you select combined inbox, you will see an aggregate view of all mail from both accounts combined into one inbox sorted via time received. I would think you are simply viewing the combined inbox instead of the individual inboxes?
