Understanding OTA Updates

Recently I've been researching to try and understand Android OTA updates and have found some great info on the Android source wiki about both A/B updates and traditional ones:

But is there any other sources for info on this that could be recommended, or just Info to be shared? My searches haven't turned up much else.

Thanks for the info! I'd seen some of those arstechnica articles, but the androidpolice one is particularly helpful!
