Go to your phone settings and click on the 'Apps' button.
Select the 'ALL' tab and find the 'Google Play Store' app.
Firstly, clear the data then clear the cache then force stop the app.
If you now open the Play Store you should be greeted with the initial welcome pop-up. Follow this as normal, log in with your account details as per normal and hopefully this should have resolved the issue for you.
If you've already tried this and it didn't help, and you've tried other things like turning the phone off and back on again, or a soft reset and factory reset, and this didn't help, then I would venture that it is an issue with the app itself not being compatible with your phone in its current iteration, especially if you did a factory reset and the app still had issues on a fresh device. Maybe flag up the issue with the app developers to see if they can offer any suggestions or if it is a known problem with your make/model of device.
