Unfortunately, Hangouts Has Stopped.

I can install Google Hangouts or update it from Gtalk, and it works after the upgrade. . Until I restart the phone. After restarting the phone the Google Hangouts does not open and says "Unfortunately, Hangouts Has Stopped." yet in the background it is still running because in the top bar I can see notifications.

TO get it working I have to uninstall or revert back to Gtalk then uninstall Play Services, Re-install play services and re-install update and it works fine again. . .What is going on here??? How can I get google Hangouts to work all the time?

There's likely a conflict with one or more services which some other app/widget is dependant upon. That reboot which regains proper functionality is very telling.. so, I'd have a close look at all syncing apps/widgets as to auto sync settings or manual/on-demand. Take them out of the picture by setting them to manual (weather, Facebook, Twitter, Gmail.. all of it), then reboot and see how things go.

If joy is achieved, that is no new reboot is needed for your Hangouts functionality, then I'd leave things as they are.. but you may want to hunt down the culprit by reconfiguring one at a time and testing each one.. time consuming as it is. ;)

Well I uninstalled G+ and restarted did the whole thing . . and still. Twitter has been removed and facebook does not use Play services app. OTher than that I have really nothing running
