'Unfortunately Launcher Pro has stopped'

When I got a note 2 last year, I tried Launcher Pro and after a few days I go constant 'unfortunately launcher pro has stopped' error pop up and then asking if I want to report it or not.

I got fed up and went back to stock launcher.

I just got a samsung mega 2 days ago and already its happening again often. every seems like its getting more frequent by the hour now.

Why two phones in a row??

It seems just scrolling between homescreens will cause it.. or exiting a random app etc

Any help please?

running 4.4.2 by the way

I like the look of the launcher pro but if anyone has any other ones that they could recommend that would be cool to

So you're the other guy that still uses LauncherPro! Nice to meet you.

I've been using it for years and get that popup once or twice a year, but no lasting damage as result. LP, in case you haven't heard, is no longer supported, so whatever problems you find are all yours.

Wow. Launcher Pro. Good old times when Go wasn't as bloated as it is now lol. It hasn't been supported for years. Try Nova Prime or Apex Pro.

I just put on nova launcher and wow its amazing. The only issue I am having and cant figure out how to change is the app drawer at the bottom is off center to the left. Cant seem to get it centered.

any ideas how to get it in middle?

oh and also with nova is there a way to get the app icons on the homescreens larger? or because I have a mega, they are normal size but they looks small because of the giant megatron screen?? lol

Adjust the number of icons on the dock to have a center. Having a Mega may have made Nova put 6 there, so you can't center it. I know Nova puts like 7 on my 7 inch Tab.
You can adjust icon sizes in the Nova settings.

Mind you, I'm not claiming that Launcher Pro is better than the other four hundred launchers out there. In the three years since its falling asleep, a lot has changed that it cannot possibly aware of or keep up with. But, even after trying dozens of others, I continually find that its capabilities have been imprinted on me, going back to my Android infancy... it just does what I expect a launcher to do.
