Hello, everyone! I need some help with a phone and I'm not sure how to word my Google searches, so I figured I'd just sign up here.

Every time I try to run an app, I get the error "Unfortunately, X has closed." This happens to contacts, media, and everything else. Because of this, I am not able to make calls or send or receive texts. The error of the most concern is the "Unfortunately, the process android.process.acore has stopped." I feel like finding the source of that issue will help me get to a resolution. :(

Welcome to the forums mizsmile, glad to have you here :)

Sorry to hear about what is happening to your device. I would first try, if your device has a removable battery to remove it and restart the device.

Lastly, it sounds like you might just want to factory reset the device. This should solve any software issues like the ones you are having, but this will delete all of your data.

Thanks for joining :D

Hi mizsmile...

Unfortunately, this inconvenience happens way too often. At most, this is usually caused by an installed application.

I would recommend uninstalling all recent installed application(s). Do them one at a time (if there's more than one).

If the problem persist, then I would suggest doing a "factory reset" as suggested by Guide member Digital Controller.

I hope your time here will be insightful & helpful. :)
