Help Unidentified notification appearing and disappearing repeatedly

Hello everyone, I will present the technical details of my device first:
1. Manufacturer - Motorola
2. Model - Moto G 4G LTE 2014
3. Software version - 5.1
4. Specifics of the problem - A few days ago an unknown notification started popping up on my notifications bar, and disappearing a few seconds later. When expanding the notification there is no text, and when trying to open the notification by pressing on it, nothing happens. This happens 24/7 no matter how much I reboot the phone, try to kill processes running and trying to find anything about it online. The notification icon is the Android robot head.
5. Not rooted. Nova launcher.

not sure if I'm doing this correctly - go to settings (gear), storage and usb, click on internal storage, click on apps, (alternately click on settings and click on apps) and scroll down and see if you see anything that might be doing it, and uninstall or disable it.
