Unidentified status bar icon next to carrier logo

Hello Android forums, I come with a question today.

I just bought my LG G3 a couple weeks ago and there has a been a status bar icon on it for the rememberable past. I cannot identify it, and it is starting to bother me. I have tried googling this, describing it in tons of different ways (considering it's such a basic icon) and I still come up empty. I cannot figure out what app it would be for, and my installed apps on google play offer no hints.


Any help would be very much appreciated, I really would love to know what this icon means. It is to the immediate left of my carrier name. Carrier is AT&T if that would matter.

Edit: It was the application Powerful Control.

I could not find it in the user manual on the AT&T website.,

You could try running in Safe Mode (disabling all apps you added without uninstalling them). If it goes away it is caused by an app that you added.
