Uninstall apps?

I'm wondering if it is possible to uninstall a couple applications that came pre-installed on my Droid.
Apps such as Footprints and MOffice are just a waste of space and could do w/o.

Apps that come preinstalled --either from Android or from your provider-- can't be uninstalled. However, most home replacements offer a feature to "hide" (or just not show") selected apps, which is almost the same thing unless you're pressed for space.

I use this on PandaHome (free) to hide the built-in SMS app, since I prefer Handcent.
