Many android phones you can open the app drawer (where all you app icons are shown), longpress on the one you want to delete, and a prompt will appear at the top or bottom of the screen to remove, or uninstall. Just drag the icon to that prompt and it's done.
If that doesn't work, goto Settings / Application manager / scroll down the downloaded apps a tap the one to uninstall and there is a button to uninstall.
You can also uninstall apps from the Play store. From either your phone or the website, search for the app and there should be an uninstall button where the install button was before.
