Uninstall Stock App's?

So i purchased a Sony Xperia X10 the other day and rooted it and updated it to the new Build Version R2BA020 (Due to the Wifi Issue and i wanted the extended battery life) and all is well!

Though i just want to know how i can uninstall the stock Timescape app that comes pre-installed! I've tried settings>Applications>Manage applications and i dont have the option to uninstall.

Any Idea's?

P.s i have tried THIS but it says it read-only.

Just be careful what you delete. For example the Market won't work if you delete GTalk. I'd leave all pre-installed Google apps alone.

Titanium is invaluable for rooted phones, though.

I don't know if this is the best place to post this but...

I just got an Andriod Eris and I wanted to download handcent sms but when I get a new text message it comes up in both "messages" and handcent

How do I either turn off the "messages" alerts or delete them all together??

Any help would be great, I'm pulling my hair our over here

Is not really the best place to post it, but heres your answer anyway :P
Open Messaging, go into Settings, and about halfway down you'll see a check-box for Notifications, uncheck that.
