My android has terrible battery life.
There's a YOUTUBE app that uses more battery than all the other apps combined and can't be uninstalled because it came with the stupid phone. "Oh, you need wakelock," people suggested.
Wakelock verified for me that the youtube app that can't be uninstalled is using up all the stinking battery, but gives no help getting rid of the blasted thing. So now, I laboriously manually force stop the youtube app. This stinking you tube app sometimes starts itself up again.
This helps my battery life, but now, wakelock itself is using more battery than all the rest of the apps combined.
But wakelock itself cannot be uninstalled?!?!? WTF? The suggested cure for bloody battery sucking malware that cannot be uninstalled is yet more ineffective bloody battery sucking malware that cannot be uninstalled?
