Uninstalled App Issue

I recently installed a poor app into my HTC Wildfire s from the market, as it was bad I uninstalled it, however the app shortcut in downloads and all apps is still there, any help?
 
Have you tried re-installing the app and then going to Manage Apps in settings and clearing the cache and clearing the data for the app? Then uninstall and restart your phone.
 
Failing that, once uninstalled go back into manage apps and see if it lists there. If not just delete the app short-cut and never install it again. :)
 
One more question actually, I looked up a thread on deleting your market search history and found one, but when i clear the market cache the searches are still there when I go to search?

Need to get rid of some of the girly things my sister has searched before my friends see it!

Just start up the market place and goto settings and touch "Clear search history". :)

Oh it should be in the General settings area. What version of the Market are you running Renegade? I'm on 3.4.4
