Unique Display Question

First time here, hope I make sense. I am not the developer, just the employee assigned to find the answer.

We are a small start-up and have been producing our product on an off-the-shelf android tablet for a few years. Everything has been fine, but now a client wants our product on a much larger device that would be on a table or mount. Our current product is 1280x800 (16x10) and runs well on the 8" and 10" tablets that we use. I am looking for somethin 18+ inches that runs 16x10 and have found nothing. I would even consider strapping an android device to the back of a display if it would work (has to be a touchscreen) We cannot change the resolution as that would be quite a bit of work re-sizing graphics, particles and buttons.

I am open to suggestions, thanks in advance!

I know Samsung makes an 18in Android tablet, the Galaxy View. Also have a look at B2B sites like made-in-china.com and globalsources.com There's bound to be some OEMs making Android tablets around that size as well, and maybe able to customise to your exact requirements, depending on how many devices you actually require.

Our current product is 1280x800 (16x10)

One thought though, 1280x800 is rather low resolution for an 18in plus screen-size, and probably doesn't exist.... Hey look at the pixels!
AFAIK, Android apps, if they're written correctly should be able to scale to higher resolutions without problem.

Looks like the original Microsoft Surface table of 2008

For the OP, do you require hand-held mobile, or is it some sort of standing kiosk type thing you're doing.
