Unistall SuperSU

Hi, I'm a newbie to android and have very less knowledge on how it works. i have a samsung S4 (GT19505) which i bought in Australia. I moved to india few months back. i couldn't install any of the indian apps on google play like my banking apps which i need to use them frequently. For this reason i did some research on the internet and found that i had to change my region or country on Google play, for that i had to root the device. i followed the steps on a forum and rooted the device (i think). i had to install SuperSu on my phone for that. But all that has gone in vain. i still couldn't change the country and couldn't download the local apps. Basically, it didn't make any changes on my phone (as far as i know). Now, i couldn't even update my firmware with the device being rooted.
I wanted to know if i can uninstall SuperSu now without loosing any data on my phone?
How can that be done?
If not, is there any other way to install local apps on my phone or change the region or country?
Also, wanted to know, i am planning to sell my phone, do i need to unroot it before selling it?
Your answers would be of great help to me. Sorry if there are any mistakes and for being technologically challenged. TIA.

Hi Kurapati, and welcome to Android Forums :)

I believe that SuperSU actually has an option buried within its settings to fully unroot the device - have you tried that to see if it will work for you?

As for changing the region/country related to Google Play, I think that @mikedt might be able to help out or at least provide some information about that. (Sorry Mike if that's not accurate! :D )

And it really depends on the buyer (and market) whether or not they'd prefer an unrooted device. Many will, as they want something just like it came from the factory, but there are also enthusiasts who would plan on rooting it anyway so you could save them a step.

Unrooting will probably require you to run a Rom Upgrade Utility. That will return your phone to stock but will also wipe the memory. You will probably get the best advice by asking your question in the device specific sub-forum where more wool be known about your phone.
