Unknown App BIVRDae

I have an app called BIVRDae on my phone (Samsung S7).
A search for this comes up with nothing other than another user who has noticed it on his phone too.
Check your apps and see if it's there.
With VR in the name I thought that it might relate to a VR app.... but that's just conjecture.
Anyone able to shed light on this?

It may be significant that the other post (in Androidcentral last year) was also a Galaxy S7. That might mean that it's something that the manufacturer or carrier installed, though it's unusual to get the option to uninstall those.

I've never seen this on any of my devices, but I don't have a recent Samsung to compare with.

This is quite different, since it's a different app and also a very common one (whereas the one we're discussing here is very obscure). Since all we know is that it's there and you don't remember installing it the obvious alternatives would be that it was pre-installed or that it came with an update to the phone. Without more information it's impossible to do more than speculate like that.

It is however better to start a new thread, rather than ask your question in someone else's. If you have the same problem then fine, more information will help, but if it's a different question (as here, where it's a different app) it diverts attention from the original question, and so is considered bad manners. Also if you start your own thread you can give a more precise description of your problem in the title, which may help in getting answers.
