Help Unknown Icon on status bar?

This icon keeps on appears out of the blue. When I want to tap on it disappears. I'll add the screenshot I took and if someone could tell me what's it's for, it would be very helpful.

the one with the eye right? if so, thats smart screen, its sees if the person is looking at the phone (using the front camera) to see if the screen should be on or off
