The flashlight? Probably some sort of fast toggle for a flashlight app tied to the notification.

Pull down your notification bar and long-press the notice with that icon. It will tell you which app generated it.

I tried that. There isn't a matching notice with that icon when I pull down the bar.....

Have you tried restarting your phone? If that icon is still there, if you look in your Apps menu is there any app with a similar icon?
