Unknown Parts for Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1

I received a stainless steel clip (1" x 0.5" x 0.25") in a small Zip lock container which also contained 5 little plastic "toothpick" things about .75" long. What are they for?
 
The toothpick things are replacement tips for the S pen.
The clip is the tool to remove the old tip (I think).
