Unknown red dot in Chrome browser

Hi
Thank you for letting me join.
Today I noticed a red dot with an A in it every time I start to search on Chrome. I worked out it was either Argos or Amazon, but I want to get rid of it. I check apps , notifications etc but cannot find a way to get rid of it.
I also cleared my history and cache.
It's still there. Does anyone have a solution to this.
