unlimited data plan

I currently have the grandfathered unlimited data plan and im due for a phone upgrade. Do I keep my unlimited data plan if I was to get the S3?
 
They made me give it up and go with one of the new plans. I guess i could have thrown a fit but, to be honest, I haven't had a problem staying under 3GB.
