Unlimited Plan - Add iPad w/o losing unlimited?

Newbie
Looking to add an iPad and don't want to lose the unlimited data plan..... can it be done? If so, what's the hot ticket?

TIA!

If you're already on a family plan, then you should be able to add the iPad without difficulty and put it on a tiered plan. If one a individual plan, you might be forced onto the SE plans and thus lose unlimited.

ok... just got off the phone w/cs rep. Said I can add the iPad for $30.00 (2GB plan) no extension of contract and still keep the unlimited on the phone!

It would cost the same each month, but you would have unlimited for it instead of only 2gb. Plus you save money on the ipad upfront since the wifi model is cheaper than the carrier enabled ones.

Kinda what I was figuring... pretty big difference in price between the models and the only thing that would restrict the use of the iPad would be my Thunderbolt battery dying....

For 30 bucks a month couldn't you just add the hot spot. With unlimited data wouldn't you get unlimited for the hot spot?

Plus, I was told that there was never unlimited data plans for tablets, before they got rid of them for phones of course?
