Hi there, I am new here, I have a Huawei Activa 4G phone from MetroPCS and was wondering how to go about unlocking it without damaging it, so that I can use it on T-Mobile's network.. Any help would be greatly appreciated..

I wish I had better news for you, but MetroPCS runs on the CDMA band of frequencies and T-Mobile's network is based on the global GSM band. The radios in your phone are totally incompatible with the T-Mobile network.
Is there a chance that I'm wrong? Nope. Well, maybe 0.00001%
You can always call T-Mobile tech support and ask. And if I'm wrong, I promise I'll humbly take it back and stand corrected. I know this isn't the answer you're looking for, but I hope it helps you explore other options...

I live in Jamaica, and a friend of mine has gotten a MetroPCS Activa 4G. This phone uses a SIM card, so I think it can possibly be unlocked....
