Unlock code for LG L70? Going out of country?

So...they won't let me unlock because this is a new phone and I need it for 3 months. Going out of country soon...anyone have an unlock code?

the unlock code is specific to your device, im sure if you searched on ebay you could find sellers for real cheap. i unlocked my lg optimus g pro for 1.92.

I'd be careful in regards to the DMCA ruling on unlocking devices without a carriers approval:

Now I realize it's Metro and you own the device, but have you informed them about your trip out of the country?
Perhaps they will issue it then?

Metro only unlocks after 90 days of having service on the phone, no getting around it with them.

That is just a bill and is not a law so it's a moot point for now. It has not passed the Senate yet.

Correct, the bill to make it legal again hasn't been passed. But the DMCA update that bans it is already in effect as of January 26th, 2013
