I have a Sprint Optimus G. I was unlocked, I have Free Gee and Super User. I updated to Jelly Bean. Sprint must have pushed an update firmware message to upgrade to Jelly bean and I updated. When I go to use Free Gee to Unlock phone, I get a warning stating that I need the new special unlock code. This unlock flashes your sbl stack. If anything goes wrong you might hard brick. Download mode is stored in the sbl stack, thus if it fails to flash you can't recover. If you get any errors or any problems do NOT reboot. Find Shelnutt2 or xda or IRC. After you enable this click unlock my optimus G to proceed.....I don't understand what exactly needs to be done to root? I am not familiar with going to sbl stack in download mode. Is their a link or steps required to go back to root phone? Any help would be great. Thanks
