I have just purchased a second hand g1 phone - looks like its activated and came with a t mobile pay as you go sim. i use virgin mobile, so i requested an unlock code from an internet company of good repute.
got the code ok, followed the instructions but it never came up with an option to enter the unlock code? i have the virgin card in there and can make calls - does this mean that my phone was already unlocked?
with virgin i dont get 3g - so i have tried entering a new apn but although it allows me to enter all the details, it doesn't appear in the list after i save it, still only has the 1 apn which is t mobile.
the company dont answer their emails and can take 24 hours - please help
