unlock / root prism ii huawei u8686 with a locked bootloader?

any help is appreciated. huawei has unlock codes 4 some phones but not mine. i've got poot but can't get past the boot loader

Unlock codes unlock the SIM-lock, so you can use other carriers' SIMs in the phone. Unlocking a locked bootloader is different.

say I wanted to do a dump of a locked bootloader file, could I just pull it? Is it the same as the boot.ini or boot.info? How do I know if a bootloader is encrypted? If I pulled the bootloader could I rewrite parts and push it back to the device? Which file has the baseband information?
