Help Unlock the G1 in the UK

Does anyone know if the G1 will be unlockable in the UK?

Well, if you are thinking about getting the US version and using it there, that depends if you can get an unlock code out of TMUS. If you do manage such a feat, the 3G portion won't work in the UK because it's on a different frequency.

I'd just wait for the UK one to come out in the next month or so. Unlocking that solely depends on your carrier.

Has anyone in the UK unlocked their phone,and do they have access to the market and can they browse the net.
I just bought one and i intend unlocking it and use on the "3 network" here in the UK.
Pls your help would be much appreciated.
