Hi, so, I unlocked my s6 network, so i can use my sim card with my carrier. my question is, if i root my phone (s6) will I no longer be able to use my sim card with my carrier? and be forced to unlock the carrier again?

Shouldn't be. If you bought the phone through them and need a warranty repair then it will depend on which carrier: some are cool with that as long as the fault is obviously unrelated to your fiddling, some will insist that your warranty is void. But in use it shouldn't matter to the carrier at all.

There are some apps which will not run if they detect that the phone is rooted though. Not many, but if it's something you care about that's a pain.
