Unlocking device automatically

I am using a Nexus 7 and I wanted to know if there is any way to automatically lock and unlock the device. I want to unlock my device without having to be there to tap a button or wave my hand over it or whatever.

There are two sub-forums for the Nexus 7, one for the 2012 model: Nexus 7 (2012) - Android Forums and one for the 2013 model: Nexus 7 (2013) - Android Forums where other Nexus 7 users tend to look more often than here in the introduction sub-forum.

If I knew which model you have I'd move this there for you, however as I don't, I'd suggest you pose the question in whichever of the two is appropriate.
