Help Unlocking Galaxy S3 after custom rom

Hello,

My phone is locked to the o2 network in the UK and i have put cyanogen mod on it.

I now want to unlock the device for use on other networks but the unlock code from Samsung isn't working.

Any ideas guys? Thanks!

You should get O2 to unlock it. If you try to get around money owed to them (if any is owed) by unlocking by other means O2 can turn the phone into a brick by blacklisting the phone's IMEI number. If you owe O2 nothing they should be perfectly willing to unlock it for you.

I have tried via o2 twice now and the code that i keep getting sent from Samsung doesn't work (it's been the same number each time).

I think the problem is that I've 'tampered' with it by putting cyanogen mod on it. Any other ideas? I'm really staggered that even after a full format and a new OS it still remains locked somehow to the network.
